About

Sharon received a BS in Family Studies in 2005 from Western Baptist (Corban College), and graduated in 2010 with a master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Specialized trainings include EMDR, AIR Network, TF-CBT, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART), Play Therapy, Animal Assisted Play Therapy (TM), multiple forms of canine/equine-assisted therapy trainings, and a focus on complex trauma/attachment/dissociation issues. While Sharon has had a wide range of experience serving adults, children, and families with diverse mental health issues, she feels particularly privileged to walk alongside and support caregivers, clients, and families who have experienced stress/trauma. She relaxes by spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, cats, and horses, and exploring nature.
